As a young parent and step back all the time and think….Am I doing this right? Would I even know if I wasn’t? It’s a constant mental struggle with my parenting style do what I can do to improve or change. When I first became a mom I was scared out of my mind, but really who isn’t?! I think that it’s a little necessary to be a little fearful. If you have that fear it makes you more aware and of course more open to feedback and change. There is always room for improvement and don’t make the mistake of thinking that there is nothing to improve on. For me as a parent that one thing that I always leave room for improvement with is discipline.  That is such a gray area that I sometimes get lost. Really, really lost.
